Nikolas graduated. . . . .

. . . . from a car seat to a booster seat. Trust me when I say he is not happy about it. Nikolas is a backseat driver, he has to be able to see out the window, which he could do in his car seat. Unfortunately, in the booster seat he can't see out the window that well. So I tried to help him out and made him this little pillow to sit on. I used a towel because it would be durable for all the messes little boys can make.

Happy quilting!

Looks really cute. I wonder, though, if that puts him at a level that doesn't make the booster seat as safe. I know my granddaughter didn't like not being able to see, either, but someone we know in law enforcement said if you raise them up, the seat belt is hitting them at a different angle and it could be dangerous in an accident or if the car is stopped suddenly. Just double-check for that, okay???

I was the same way, and my mom did exactly the same thing. I think we still have that much-loved, much-flattened pillow around somewhere.
