Tuesday's Triumphs

I'm going to start listing what I accomplished the week before. It is really for me hopefully to keep me on track.

5/28-6/3

  • Friday - quilted Be Attitude
  • Saturday - quilted Wonky Coffee Cups,
    •  Sewed binding
    • Applique'd Dasher
  • Sunday - Prepped rooster for wall hanging
Not a bad week.

Monday Milestones 2/12-18

Last Week's Goals 2/12-2/18
  1. Snowball quilt - layer, baste, quilt Nope
  2. Cowboys and Indians-applique 2 cowboys 1, 2 Indians 1, 3 sheriff's stars 
Not a good week for sewing. I feel asleep every time I sat down Sun, Mon, Tues and most of Wed.
This Week's Goals 2/19-2/25
  1. Snowball quilt-layer, baste, quilt
  2. Sunbonnet Sue-prep and applique' 3 more blocks
  3. Hexagon- baste more hexagons, make more hexagon flowers 
  4. Bandana bibs-make 3

  2. Boot Bash Feb block-prep, applique'  (Lacy and Cindy) 
  3. Cowboys and Indians-applique' 3 tepees, 3 cowboys, 3 indians, 4 sheriff stars; cut 4 ivory, 6 blue 
 cut 10 blocks, applique'd 2 tepee, 0 cowboy 0 indian 0 sheriff's star 


This Week's Goals 2/12-2/18
  1. Snowball quilt - layer, baste, quilt
  2. Cowboys and Indians-applique 2 cowboys, 2 Indians, 3 sheriff's stars

    Monday Milestones 1/29-2/4

    1. Be Attitude Feb block-prep; applique'
    2. Emilee's Winding Ways-finish blocks need to rip it out AGAIN
    3. String pieced-quilt
    4. Cowboys and Indians-jut getting started not sure how many blocks I can do  cut 6 blocks, applique'd 1 tepee, 1 cowboy 1 indian

      1. Finish farm blocks Done
      2. Add sashing to farm blocks
      3. Make 8 snowball blocks
      4. Make 3 eight hexagon flowers
      5. Layer and baste string pieced quilt
      6. Finish quilting Serenity Prayer wall hanging.
      This Week's Goals 1/29-2/2/4
      1. Be Attitude Feb block-prep; applique'
      2. Emilee's Winding Ways-finish blocks
      3. Quilt string pieced quilt
      4. Cowboys and Indians-jut getting started not sure how many blocks I can do
       Doesn't look like much but I think the quilting will take up a lot of my time.

              Week ending 10/2

              Well, that worked pretty well keeping me motivated. Plus I didn't feel like I had to work on a project because it was on my list. I worked on what I wanted to work on.

              Sunday
              1. Sewed binding on Bliss & Blessings
              2. Pull backing fabric for Serenity Prayer panel.

              Monday
              1. Basted Serenity Prayer panel.

              Tuesday
              1. Started quilting Serenity Prayer.

              Wednesday
              1.Looked for background squares and corner stones for Emilee's Winding Ways.

              Thursday
              1. Looked for background squares and corner stones for Emilee's Winding Ways.

              Friday
              1.Looked for background squares and corner stones for Emilee's Winding Ways.

              Saturday
              1. Looked for background squares and corner stones for Emilee's Winding Ways.
              2. Started a new project because I couldn't find Emilee's Winding Ways.
              3. Traced applique' pieces
              4. Fused applique' pieces to fabric.
              5. Looked for background squares and corner stones for Emilee's Winding Ways.
              6. Made vine for new projects.
              7. Fused applique' to background
              8. Layered new project.
              9. Started appli-quilting new project.
              10. Looked for background squares and corner stones foe Emilee's Winding Ways.
              11. Found background squares and corner stones for Emillee's Winding Ways. WOOHOO!!

              I looked everywhere for the pieces I had already cut for Emilee's Winding Ways. I had looked so much I had decided I had accidently thrown them away. Saturday afternoon I remembered that when I was showing my neighbor the batik flower garden quilt those pieces were laying on the bed. I unfolded the batik quilt and there they were. Thank goodness!
