Have a great weekend!JustCindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01639059288945166225noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429234329218017124.post-58956875985628077222013-03-30T16:54:00.002-05:002013-03-30T16:54:24.687-05:00Hats Hats and More HatsI wanted to make hats for charity. I was going to make them for babies but the area hospital only wants purple hats and a list of of other things the hats could not have. The list was so disheartening. I had made a few hats before I found the info out so I will just give them away to whoever needs them<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8122/8603438765_37f04eaa2e_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="189" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8122/8603438765_37f04eaa2e_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I don't make very good tassels. Some Daddy will think the camo with the pink bow is perfect for his baby girl. I thought it was cute.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8527/8603437927_3ac227ac35_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="258" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8527/8603437927_3ac227ac35_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
This is my favorite hat. Probably will fit an older baby.<br />
<br />
Lacy is working with her church, a lady from the American Legion and the Dallas VA to help the homeless veterans in our area. I was shocked at the number of homeless veterans. They will be having a food drive gathering cans of food that does not require a can opener and bottles of water, juice, etc. I wanted to do something to support this cause so I am making hats.<br />

Happy Easter!JustCindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01639059288945166225noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429234329218017124.post-40506321715564267662013-02-03T13:42:00.001-06:002013-02-03T13:42:12.349-06:00January 2013More hand embroidery. My machine died that had the needle up down and the speed control. I tried working on and finally took it to the shop. I'm not paying that to have it fixed. :( Yes, I can do some applique' on my older machine, it just can't be too complicated.<br />
<br />
I made a test block to make sure my hex and embroidery would fit on the size block <a href="http://lindabee2000.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Linda</a> and I worked out. I turned it into a pillow for Jon.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8049/8423689869_30cbf86dfc_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8049/8423689869_30cbf86dfc_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
A mini quilt to hang beside the front door. Yes, that it is lots and lots of french knots.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8472/8442409112_e591c1d6f8_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8472/8442409112_e591c1d6f8_b.jpg" width="313" /></a></div>
<br />
This little bag is for Chelsi's Sunday school teacher.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8072/8441316501_436740546a_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8072/8441316501_436740546a_b.jpg" width="275" /></a></div>
<br />
I just love the design on this pillow. Makes me smile every time I look at it. This pillow is going to Lacy's.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8223/8441315171_7a9ab0c86b_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="273" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8223/8441315171_7a9ab0c86b_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

So for practice I made Lacy this little heart.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8362/8330572987_e36b8ac566_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="270" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8362/8330572987_e36b8ac566_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Then I couldn't stop.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
There was candy to be made for the grands which got me lots of hugs and chocolatey kisses. Popa unwrapped 80 kisses for the candy.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8075/8331639010_a6a83ce0a1_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8075/8331639010_a6a83ce0a1_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I caught up on my teapots.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8221/8331641352_36462fb248_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8221/8331641352_36462fb248_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I thought the December teapot needed Christmas fabric.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8491/8330585763_69a7a9f6a3_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8491/8330585763_69a7a9f6a3_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I made a Christmas tree.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I won this Christmas mug rug from Rhonda.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8215/8330572365_ed92033d84_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="297" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8215/8330572365_ed92033d84_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I did this embroidery and then put it into a bag.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I made the boys <a href="http://www.littlebitfunky.com/2010/11/20-minute-crafter-10-minute-pillowcase.html" target="_blank">pillow cases</a>. This had to be the easiest <a href="http://www.littlebitfunky.com/2010/11/20-minute-crafter-10-minute-pillowcase.html" target="_blank">pattern for pillow cases</a>.<br />

Moda Turnover<br />
I was looking for something one day and this <a href="http://bittybitsandpieces.blogspot.co.uk/2008/11/charm-pack-quilt-tutorial.html" target="_blank">Moda Turnover</a> that I have had forever and remembered a <a href="http://bittybitsandpieces.blogspot.co.uk/2008/11/charm-pack-quilt-tutorial.html" target="_blank">tutorial</a> I had saw using the turnovers, she used a charm pack and cut them in half. Well I had to make one. I need at least one more package of turnovers for the center of the quilt. This will be Chelsi's Christmas quilt next year. I think I've had the turnovers for two years so I hope I can find more.<br />

LOL I have Nikolas, Aiden and Chelsi's quilts finished and I'm working on Greg's. I'm sure Greg's quilt is growing. Whew!<br />
<br />
At night I am doing hand embroidery. Every Tuesday I start on the <a href="http://ravelly1-quiltzblog.blogspot.com/2012/11/hand-embroidery-bow-5-retreat-photos.html" target="_blank">BOW</a> that <a href="http://ravelly1-quiltzblog.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Rhonda</a> is doing. So fun!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8062/8192441273_43ae3171b2_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8062/8192441273_43ae3171b2_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Once I get my BOW done I'm working on <a href="http://www.littlemissshabby.com/category/birdie-stitches/" target="_blank">Birdie Stitches</a>.<br />
January's block<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8482/8192441901_a285b447a6_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="308" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8482/8192441901_a285b447a6_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
February's block<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8057/8182788541_93f7745fd0_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="309" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8057/8182788541_93f7745fd0_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I'm about half done with March. I'm thinking of doing the quilt as you go method when I quilt this quilt. Have any of you tried that method?JustCindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01639059288945166225noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429234329218017124.post-85762114532765297432012-11-07T04:30:00.000-06:002012-11-07T04:30:03.811-06:00Train quiltRemember this train fabric for Nikolas a quilt.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6017/5991122311_d5d3270fab_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6017/5991122311_d5d3270fab_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2424/5829931022_79699f878d_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2424/5829931022_79699f878d_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I was trying hard to keep it hid from Nikolas but he found it. I tried explaining to him about the blocks I was making to go with the fabric but the more I explained the more upset he got.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8483/8162541056_ae292873c3_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8483/8162541056_ae292873c3_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
So I did the only thing I knew to do. I slapped some batting between the two pieces of fabric, quilted it and put a binding on.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7122/8162540962_35c7def556_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="287" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7122/8162540962_35c7def556_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8208/8162540266_335f45494d_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8208/8162540266_335f45494d_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I think Nikolas is going to love it!<br />
<br />
Two more to quilt and I will be ready for Christmas morning.<br />
<br />

The wind has howled all week, but we had great temps.<br />
<br />

I've been looking at fabric to make my attic window with but I can't quite decide. I still have time. I'm also thinking about doing this as a quilt as you go so I can try out the technique.<br />
<br />

I ran into some bumps along the way but it all worked out. The quilt finished size is 46" x 60:. No I did not put a pink border on the top on purpose.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

It puts out great light and only cost me $20. The problem I have with it is where to set it so it doesn't blind me or cast a shadow. I've moved into several places so you can see my problem. Please ignore my clutter that is all for projects I'm currently working on.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8324/8136423890_afba260fe2_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8324/8136423890_afba260fe2_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
This position definitely does not work.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8327/8136392001_7a36315a02_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8327/8136392001_7a36315a02_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
In this position it glares off the plate and blinds me. Plus it throws a shadow on the left of the pressure foot.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8331/8136421884_5cd456a56f_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8331/8136421884_5cd456a56f_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Today I thought to move the light into this position. It doesn't blind me but I do still have a shadow on the left.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8184/8140093642_5f0dbd87d7_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8184/8140093642_5f0dbd87d7_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The perfect place for the light would be on the left side, right in the way of what I'm working on. Suggestions? I thought about getting a small light that would stick to the machine, like a book light.<br />
<br />
Thanks for any help. Happy quilting!!<br />

Come join in the fun, you can catch up. Rhonda gave a peek of the <a href="http://ravelly1-quiltzblog.blogspot.com/2012/10/hand-embroidery-bow-2.html" target="_blank">layout</a> last week. I'm excited to try my hand at attic windows.<br />
<br />
I'm still struggling to get my stitches to be about the same size, practice makes perfect. Hopefully, I will be getting better by week 12.<br />

What kind I say, I'm slow. :)<br />
<br />
This will be the top row.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8328/8128717085_8e4b88ed8f_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="125" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8328/8128717085_8e4b88ed8f_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This will be the second row. It needs the block for the right side.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8330/8128715631_e82223f6f5_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8330/8128715631_e82223f6f5_b.jpg" width="311" /></a></div>
The third row will be the teapots and the fourth row will be another row of tea cups.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8469/8128741776_2f69e76277_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="129" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8469/8128741776_2f69e76277_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Happy quilting!<br />

Thought I would get the little item out of the way so I could concentrate on the big.<br />
<br />
Nikolas loves trains.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8464/8100385525_3802b32034_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="188" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8464/8100385525_3802b32034_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8194/8100393144_39776d0748_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="176" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8194/8100393144_39776d0748_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Greg loves firetrucks and can spot one a mile away. I looked at a coloring page to do the ladder.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8053/8100392702_c3fc43ac1a_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="282" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8053/8100392702_c3fc43ac1a_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Aiden loves Mater. You know, Tow-mater. Aiden has Mater everything. Mater toothbrush, underwear, shirts, cup, etc etc. Did I mention Mater was hard to do?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Chelsi loves The Lorax which is a Dr. Suess movie. Chelsi waves at the Lorax, throws him kisses and laughs at him. If you haven't saw the movie, you need to, it is too cute.<br />

I had a lot of fun pulling the fabrics and stitching it. <a href="http://ravelly1-quiltzblog.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Rhonda</a> is doing a great job designing the teapots.<br />

<a href="http://ravelly1-quiltzblog.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Rhonda</a> still has the other two teapot patterns up on her bog if you would like to join in. Maybe tomorrow I will sew the three teapots together.<br />

<br />
Chelsi is getting a doll, baby bed and lots of other stuff, I'm sure. Well, Chelsi's doll needed a quilt. The hexagon quilt I backed with flannel and machine tied it. This little quilt measures 14" x 14".<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8046/8091777507_a43830e39b_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8046/8091777507_a43830e39b_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This quilt kinda got away from me in size. The pinwheel quilt measures 16" x 20". I backed it with white and used batting. For my first time making pinwheels, I was pleased.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8465/8091760661_9114ece152_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8465/8091760661_9114ece152_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8468/8091767018_a6a7d7e3ce_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8468/8091767018_a6a7d7e3ce_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

I do not know the Turner family but my daughter made internet friends with Julee. We all know what it is like to make friends with someone that we might never meet.<span style="font-family: inherit;"> <span style="background-color: white;">I'm not sure if many have heard about the </span><a href="http://www.todaysthv.com/news/article/229868/2/Matt-Turner-of-KTHV-Dies-in-Vehicle-Accident" style="background-color: white; color: #1155cc;" target="_blank">tragic news</a><span style="background-color: white;"> involving </span><a href="http://mattandjuleeturner.blogspot.com/" style="background-color: white; color: #1155cc;" target="_blank">Julee</a><span style="background-color: white;"> and Preslee. I just can't even image what Julee must be feelings. My heart hurts for her and Preslee and the entire family. Earlier on twitter </span><a href="http://www.kellyskornerblog.com/" style="background-color: white; color: #1155cc;" target="_blank">Kelly</a> <span style="background-color: white;">mentioned staying off twitter and not blogging tomorrow for Julee and others that are hurting. I have decided to-do this I will also not be on facebook. I will spend my time in prayer for Julee, The Turner/Bell Family as well as anyone else that might be hurting. I haven't seen Kelly post this on her blog yet but if she does I will link directly to her so you can have more info.</span></span><br />

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.</div>

Please take a moment to say a prayer for Julee and Preslee.</div>

I had so much fun doing this project. I used the interfacing flip and turn method from <a href="http://www.purlbee.com/mini-quilt-circular-applique/" target="_blank">the Purl Bee</a>. I had a lot of trouble turning the stem of the flowers. So I've been exploring other methods of hand applique'.<br />
<br />
The entire time I was working on this <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/48068610@N06/4731227733/in/photostream" target="_blank">pillow</a> I was thinking of the way I was going to quilt it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8042/8069036363_8f0a7813b9_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="317" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8042/8069036363_8f0a7813b9_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Here is exactly the reason you should not sew while taking cold meds.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8458/8069030946_8533146855_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8458/8069030946_8533146855_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Yep, there is no quilting. I never noticed I had not quilted it until I took it outside to take photos. Oh well, maybe I will remember to quilt the next one.<br />

Seriously, I can never die or I will leave a lot of projects un-done. lol I have always wanted to learn to applique' by hand and when I saw this <a href="http://www.purlbee.com/mini-quilt-circular-applique/" target="_blank">project/tutorial</a> from <a href="http://www.purlbee.com/" target="_blank">the Purl bee </a>I felt like it was a great first hand project.<br />
<br />
So I got my circles stitched.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8042/8017619112_596393b5d9_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="160" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8042/8017619112_596393b5d9_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Pressed my circles onto the background and I pinned them also like they suggested.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8459/8017615608_2a2832832a_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="226" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8459/8017615608_2a2832832a_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I matched thread to my circles because I thought I was suppose to do it that way. Then I re-read the tutorial and they used thread that matched the background. Guess I should have re-read the tutorial before I started my first circle.<br />
<br />
As you can see, you can see my stitches. <insert here="here" tears="tears"> I know I'm learning and practice makes perfect but still I wanted it to look better. Click photo for larger photo and you can see the red arrows. I started at the arrow on the right of the circle and stopped at the arrow on the left side.</insert><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8454/8017614740_b6885f1fda_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="194" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8454/8017614740_b6885f1fda_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I'm not giving up and one thing about this project if it turns out badly I can pick it out and applique' it on the machine.<br />

My next hexie project I'm trying to use up all the hexies that were left over from the star.<br />
<br />
I kept seeing all these adorable mug rugs so I used some of my leftovers and made one for me. I will be making more. Mine finished at 12" x 6 1/2".<br />
