No more

I am in the process of removing all pictures of Nikolas and Greg. Lacy found this article yesterday and it really unnerved both us. I hope you will take the time to read the article.

Enjoy your day!

Edit: I don't know why the link won't work. Here is the actual link.

I had to search it out online as the above link didn't work. I read the article and, to me, I think the law enforcement man who said this is a lot of "techno panic" about something that is very unlikely to happen was right. If I was well-known or was someone with a lot of money who lived in an exclusive area, I might think differently, but...like he said, child predators don't look for photos online to snatch kids.....so I'm not worrying about this.

This is why I'm not on any "social networking" sites like myspace/facebook; too easy to search.

And "unlikely to happen" doesn't mean impossible; when keeping your family safe, it's always best to err on the side of caution.

The nervous in me always is careful with images. So sad that we cannot enjoy each other's families more due to the constraints of lack of privacy on the net. One of those things.

I try to be careful about posting too much personal stuff, too. For example, they tell me to never post on Facebook the fact that you are going to be away from your home for a vacation. Post about the trip after you return, instead
