Keeping busy

We have been at the doctor's everyday this week. Unless Greg decides to come on his own today we have no where to go. YAY!!!! I've been taking my crochet with me because I totally hate sitting and waiting. I now have 49 3/4 rows done on my shawl and I ran out of crimson thread. So I have laid that aside until I can pick up some more. Probably should try it on and then make a decision about more yarn.
Since I ran out of crimson thread I picked up some left over yarn out of my basket and started a blanket using the pattern Rectangle Granny Square. I like the navy and light green. I'm done with the light green because I ran out. ;) I'm going to add a few more rows of navy then I will add either white or yellow. When I'm done with this little throw size blanket I need to seriously get busy making some hats for babies.

Yesterday Lacy sent me this link and told me she would rather have this than a shawl. Lacy's shaw was going to be made using the pink and white self striping yarn. I'm going to take Lacy's laptop away from her. ;) So I guess that will be my next big project.

Happy stitching!

The shawl is very nice, I think she will enjoy it even if she wants the other one.

Yay, shawl!

(Is Greg here yet? I've been keeping him & Lacy in my thoughts!)

Very pretty shawl. You are a very busy crocheter (correct term? lol) I think the blue and green throw will be pretty too. My MIL used to use up her left overs that way too. She would just add on another one when she ran out.
Nice blog!

Love the colors for the two projects you are working on. The star afghan looks so cute! If you make that it will look it will be greatly appreciated. Hope you had a great weekend! :)
