I don't know if you can tell from the photo that the bag is round. I want to sew a lining for the inside of the bag with a couple of pockets. I thought I would use fusible fleece on the back of the lining to help give the bag some shape. I've made plenty of bag linings but I've never made a bag lining and sewn it into a crocheted bag. Project bag
Finished crochet the bag part of my project bag. I don't know if you can tell from the photo that the bag is round. I want to sew a lining for the inside of the bag with a couple of pockets. Let me know what you decide to do for a lining. I need to put one in my Hackebeutel so I can actually use it for knitting projects and other tiny-things-that-fall-through-crochet-holes.
Lots of luck with the lining...It actually is not that hard, and you can start to sew it a few rows below the top or even right at the top...the fleece should give it some stability and shape and the lining is a good idea..The only bags I do not line are ones that I felt, because I do not want stuff to poke through the stitches and do not have to worry about that with a felted bag...
Love the yarn you chose also....I have some of that and have made a whole set of wash cloths and hand towels for a friend, the colors go with so much...
