Tunisian crochet
I have found so many great links to learn how to do tunisian crochet. I did a dishcloth and then I moved on to making a scarf. I think it is going to be so pretty. I scheduled these post as I knew I would be busy chasing Nikolas while his mommy is in the hospital getting baby Greg.

Keeping busy
We have been at the doctor's everyday this week. Unless Greg decides to come on his own today we have no where to go. YAY!!!! I've been taking my crochet with me because I totally hate sitting and waiting. I now have 49 3/4 rows done on my shawl and I ran out of crimson thread. So I have laid that aside until I can pick up some more. Probably should try it on and then make a decision about more yarn.
Yesterday Lacy sent me this link and told me she would rather have this than a shawl. Lacy's shaw was going to be made using the pink and white self striping yarn. I'm going to take Lacy's laptop away from her. ;) So I guess that will be my next big project.
Happy stitching!

Shawl progress report
I have 40 rows done on my shawl. For some reason, I thought that the shawl would only consist of 56 rows, now I'm thinking I was wrong. Never having made this shawl I was just guessing. I had originally thought I would do 10 rows crimson, 5 rows ivory, 10 rows crimson, 5 rows ivory, 15 rows crimson, 10 rows ivory, etc etc. Now I'm thinking I will just stick to the 10 rows crimson and 5 rows ivory.

Project bag
Finished crochet the bag part of my project bag. I don't know if you can tell from the photo that the bag is round. I want to sew a lining for the inside of the bag with a couple of pockets. I thought I would use fusible fleece on the back of the lining to help give the bag some shape. I've made plenty of bag linings but I've never made a bag lining and sewn it into a crocheted bag. Wish me luck!

More yarn!!!!
Lacy is addicted to yarn. I'm so glad since she let's me play with the yarn. This is the yarn she bought for dish cloths. That's a lot of dish cloths. Then she bought this crimson and ivory for me to make myself a shawl. She knows I love red! She got the strawberry stripes because she just loves pink, it is self striping. Lacy bought all of this to make hats for the boys. I think she has decided to go back and get more of the bright stripes and make blanket.
