Greg's blanket

I hated the way Greg's blanket was turning out. It felt thin, limp and it gathered in the corners. So I frogged it and started over. I'm still doing a granny square but I'm much happier this time as I'm using 2 strands of thread. It already has some body to it.

Yeah, sometimes blankets need double-stranding. NOT triple, though - during the 2004 Olympics, I triple-stranded some worsted-weight yarn and made a giant Granny Square. And yes, it's warm... but it weighs a TON. Seriously. You aren't so much warmed by the blanket as TRAPPED under it...!
