I had entirely too much left over yarn and it had to go. So I just started making granny squares. Then I got to thinking about sewing them together, so they went from this.
to this
I have another row of squares to add then I will be ready to start the edging. I ran out of white, picked up some more so I'm ready to get back to this. I have no idea what size this will finish at as I intend to go around it several times with a granny border.
Happy stitching!

A Christmas present
Making a throw as a Christmas present so I had to get started now. I don't know what happened to the colors in this picture because my couch is not grey it is chocolate brown. I'm not sure what size it will be when finished but I'm only aiming for throw size.

Stroller snuggie
Lacy purchased this yarn for me to make Aiden a stroller snuggie last Sept. So I'm a little late, it isn't like I hadn't already made him one. Lacy was shocked that this was all I got out of $36 worth of yarn. lol
It is so soft and actually very heavy for the size.

Stroller Snuggle
Lacy picked out the yarn for this project as soon as she discovered she was pregnant. I've been working on this stroller snuggle in the evenings for several weeks. This was the first blanket that crocheted together and probably the last, I just don't care for the ridge so I will go back stitching the blocks together.

Crochet
We have a friend with a new baby girl. Finally! I get to crochet in PINK. So I've made a stroller snuggle, hat and shoes. I made the hat and shoes too big for a newborn but I'm hoping just the right size for a baby girl to wear this winter in MN.
My model aka Greg had just woke up.

Stroller Snuggies
I have been busy just nothing crochet related until now. I have 2 stroller snuggies that I am working on. I don't know why I'm working on 2 at the same time. I love the lavender snuggie but it seems to be taking forever. I'm sure it is because the snuggie is made from baby yarn. Tiny tiny. The varigated snuggie is also made with baby yarn but I used strands.
The varigated snuggie is a gift for a friend who is due the end of June.

Lacy's blanket Part 7
This blanket is not growing the way I want it to. I've decided I will be finished with it in about a year.
I like the way the self striping yarn makes different patterns.

Lacy's blanket Part 6
Lacy's blanket isn't growing as fast as I would like it to. I need to pick up 2 more skeins of the strawberry yarn this week. At Wendy's suggestions, I'm going to try to limit myself to one project at a time. Having just 2 projects hasn't been too bad as I alternate working on a project each night. I still would like to see if I feel better about my projects and their completions if I only have one. I do have to have a baby blanket to finish by June but I can whip that baby out in a flash, I hope.
These 2 blocks will be added to this block.
Happy stitching!
