When you visit my blog you will find me blogging about the things I love;applique', crochet, quilting, photography, cooking, my three grandsons and my granddaughter.
Cindy, I put the zipper in the bag first thing. Then I sew the sides and the bottom with the zipper open so the bag can be turned. Zippers are a thorn in my side.
I don't do zippers so I can't help you. Good luck!
I love zippers.....and well...try again....it looks great from here.
Zippers are easier if they are ones you can take apart and sew separately. These little ones are more challenging. Don't give up! Looks like you didn't do too bad!
I actually just learned how to sew a zipper in, and it is SO EASY. The trick for me has been to sew it to the fabric first, then create the bag. I'll try to create a tute or video or something, and I'll let you know.
I've had no luck with zippers so I try to avoid them at all cost but I hope to learn someday.
I dont sew but Laurel's comment seemed very obvious and a good tip!
