Kites
This quilt pattern was called Diamond in the Sky. I didn't like that name so I'm just going to call it Kites. This quilt is for Greg and I will use the my embroidery machine to embroider birds and clouds on it. I need to pick up some ribbon for the kite tails.
What color thread would you use to do the quilting?

Looks great Cindy,. I like the idea of adding the birds with your embroidery machine. I would use white or a light blue.
I was thinking maybe red and do loop-de-loops like it's kite string. Pretty quilt.
Great idea on using the embroidery machine, I have to agree with Betsy. I think I would use a light blue for the quilting to match the sky.
Oh...I can't wait to see this all finished, it is going to be such a fun quilt@
Great quilt.....well, I'm thinking of maybe a navy blue for the strings.
