Crazy Quilt Friday

I made this block this week then moved on to embellishing my other blocks. Now all they need is the embroidery and beads. The velvet was very slippery to sew. I don't know how seamstress do it. I'm never sure if my fabrics are suppose to match or not. This whole crazy quilt thing confuses me.

Have a great weekend!

I think your blocks are getting crazier and crazier. That is a GOOD thing! Looks great!!

I think your blocks look great. And besides, matching is for dull people. That's my story -- and I'm sticking to it.

I love the butterfly....great placement. I think that is why they are crazy quilts....they don't match and they are all over the place...

Very nice block , the butterfly really sets it off .I don't think they have to match either ,isn't that what crazy means.

Crazy means crazy. They were made of neckties and anything years ago. Little pieces of fabric, etc. Any decorations and trims. A walking foot keeps fabric together when sewing, but a crazy quilt is nothing but all kinds of fabrics, in all kinds of shapes.
Happy Quilting!
