This block is as done as it is going to get until I'm through quilting it. Then I want to add pearls. Don't you think it needs some pearls?
Happy stitching!

I'm sure it was a man. . . .
. . . that thought of this.
If I had designed this I would have put a closet. Granted it would be a small closet but a small closet is better than a shelf. I hated looking at that.
Well, it isn't perfect but I like it better than without the curtain and I think it will look even better with the ladder back in the garage.

I love the lace over the dark brown fabric.
The silver trim don't look so silvery in the picture.

I can't stop
I keep seeing all these wonderful hexagon quilts and I want to make them all. I need to sew faster. lol I have all the flowers for the Grandma's Garden I'm working on now.
I want to make one using all my batiks.
I'm sure I will add a few more batiks.
Then I started cutting for the I Spy hex. I don't know if these will be centers to flowers or I will just have hex quilt.
Then Linda just had to start a Christmas Grandma's Garden so as I'm coming across Christmas fabrics that would work I'm pulling those.
Will this ever end? I hope not. :)

Bad designs
Everyone has listened to me whine about these embroidery designs since I started on them. This one was the worse one.
I backed the machine up several times and every time it just would not stitch that area. I wanted to cry. After I finished the design I kept looking at it and finally decided I might could save the block.
I will not be purchasing anymore designs from this company.

This is the block after I worked on it with my regular machine. I know it isn't perfect but at least I made the block usable. I don't think anyone else will notice but I will always know about the mistake in the block
I will not be purchasing anymore designs from this company.

Crazy Quilt Friday
I made this block this week then moved on to embellishing my other blocks. Now all they need is the embroidery and beads. The velvet was very slippery to sew. I don't know how seamstress do it. I'm never sure if my fabrics are suppose to match or not. This whole crazy quilt thing confuses me.
Have a great weekend!

Cute Crocs
Remember these blocks. I did not enjoy making them as they were not digitized very well.
I added 3 more blocks and I will add sashing so that Aiden will have a little quilt.
With the sashing.
Somehow I managed to not cut the blocks all the same size. I could have took the top apart and cut the blocks all the same but I decided I wouldn't. This quilt top has been such a pain in the neck since the beginning I decided to leave it. I can only imagine what is going to happen when I start quilting it.

One Flower Wednesday
These are the last 3 flowers for this quilt. In fact, I've been playing with laying them out on the background and I think I have too many.
I will start making the batik flowers next. I am so excited to start cutting. lol
