I'm making a bow tie on point quilt. I'm having lots of fun making it. I did have a little oops, I sewed the last row together wrong. I didn't do it wrong once, I had to do it twice. I thought about leaving it since I did it twice but I make enough mistakes without having an obvious mistake.
So I ripped it out twice and finally got it right. I always heard third time is a charm.
I have 81 bow ties. I haven't decided if I will do 8 across and 10 down or 9 across and 9 down.
Happy quilting!

You are right. It is a charm. Well done Cindy.
Sometimes I un-sew more than I sew. LOL!
Looking good, Cindy. I see a finish soon.
Your bow tie quilt is going to be amazing! I have made tbe same mistake a few times before also.....and I've made different mistakes on the same row :-) I can't wait to see it finished. I'm also working on a quilt with the same blocks right now. I'm setting my blocks to make a snowball quilt, or a beach ball quilt, as I'm using beachy fabrics.
Your quilt is turning out wonderfully...glad you are making this one.
Very cute! You could've left it and turned the corner with the ties....
Quilts on the diagonal are really great but you really have to think. Laying it out on the floor is a good idea. I like the scrappy look of your quilt!
