When you visit my blog you will find me blogging about the things I love;applique', crochet, quilting, photography, cooking, my three grandsons and my granddaughter.
I'm much happier with my second block. Creating a crazy quilt block is a lot of work for me. I spend a lot of time picking fabrics then tossing auditioning others. I love the fabric in the center of this block.
I would like to do some hand embroidery on the 2 blocks I have done but I'm not sure if I put the block in a hoop or not. I certainly don't want to mess them up and I hate the frog stitch.
Cindy it looks fabulous. I have made 5 but stopped to catch up on other things. Hopefully I will get back to it soon. I have been picking up trims here and there
Very nice. I made ONE CQ block and then gave all my CQ fabrics and trims away.....because I didn't really enjoy doing it. But I love to look at the CQ blocks others have made.
Hi Cindy! What kind of fabrics do you use for a crazy quilt? My bosses mom knows I sew and gave me some strips of fabric but it isn't quilting fabric, it looks like pillow or upholstery fabric. Could you use it?

Looking great so far! I don't know when I will ever start mine. So many quilts in my head, so little time...
