Bonnets

Although the weather is warm, Chelsi is having a terrible time with ear infections. Her doctor suggested that her ears be covered up when she goes out doors.

This is the first pattern I found and while it turned out very cute, the pattern was a little confusing. Bonnet Pattern

Then I found this pattern. Bonnet Pattern I did not make this bonnet reversible and I did make a few changes. I made the tie longer so it could be tied into a bow. I also did not like the unfinished look of the tie so I changed that also.
I guess you can tell from the photo that Chelsi was through modeling her bonnets. haha

I see more bonnets in Chelsi's future.

Easter shirts

I am sewing I just don't seem to be making any quilts. I'll get back to quilting eventually.

Here are the grands Easter shirts.
This was the first time I made the boys shirts using the same fabric.

A new purse

I started this bag a long time ago, it just wasn't turning out the way I wanted it to so I put it aside. I got it out one day as I had nothing to do wanted a new bag. I made the strap to thin so I don't use it very often.

Naked baby?

No, Chelsi is really not naked. She does have an image to uphold. After all, what would the other babies in the church nursery think if she wore the same outfit twice. Unless she is sick, her mother gets her dressed in a very cute outfit everyday with a matching bow. Her mother, my darling daughter informed me that Chelsi only had 5 dresses. I don't own 5 dresses! Of course, Lacy didn't mention the 14 bubble suits Chelsi has.

Anyway, being a good Grangran, I made Chelsi a dress, out of scraps. I didn't want to ruin good fabric and I wanted to be sure the dress fit. It fit perfectly. So now I have fabric to make 7 more dresses.
Checking out her cute chubby foot. lol
Teething keeps a baby from smiling.

A Little Bag

I needed a little bag just big enough for a tooth brush and the makeup I would need that day. Nothing appealed to me that I found on Pinterest. So I just made 2 10 minute blocks.
Have a great weekend!

St. Patrick's Day

I didn't wear green today because I forgot but I have green eyes so I'm good. lol

Lacy's friend made Chelsi a top for today.
Those are her beloved Cabbage Patch dolls. I bought the cat one first not realizing they come out with another one each month. Chelsi kisses her babies and jabbers to them.

Since Chelsi didn't need a St. Patrick shirt I made her a Cat in the Hat.
Here are the boy's shirts.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Valentine Shirts

Of course I made the kids shirts for Valentine's Day.
I loved the little top Lacy purchased for Chelsi to wear for Valentine's Day. Lacy and I thought she could wear it after Valentine.

I found a site that has the trucks for every holiday and thought they were perfect for the boys.
Have a wonderful day!
